Xiaomi 12 Lite Arrives in Nepal With Premium Features

Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi 12 Lite in the Nepalese market, marking another addition to its premium mid-range lineup. The device made its global debut last month and now brings its standout features to local consumers.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite adopts a distinct design approach compared to other models in the 12 series. Instead of curved edges, it features flat sides similar to the Redmi Note 11 series, paired with a rectangular camera module available in Black, Lite Green, and Lite Pink color options. The phone sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 950 nits for HDR content. Protection is handled by Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, built on a 6nm process with a mix of high-performance and energy-efficient cores. It comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, available in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB RAM with 256GB storage configurations.

Camera capabilities include a triple rear setup led by a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, supported by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The front features a 32MP punch-hole camera with autofocus, supporting various modes such as Selfie Portrait, Auto HDR, Eye Tracking, and Selfie Zoom, along with dual LED lights for low-light selfies.

The device is equipped with a 4300mAh battery and supports Xiaomi’s 67W turbo charging, capable of reaching a full charge in approximately 41 minutes with the included adapter. It runs on Android 12 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 interface, includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, and offers connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC (region-limited).

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is now available in Nepal through authorized Xiaomi retailers. The base 6GB RAM, 128GB storage model is priced at NPR 50,999, while the higher-end 8GB RAM, 256GB storage variant costs NPR 53,999.
