Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Arrives in Nepal

Vatsal Impex Pvt Ltd, the official Xiaomi distributor in Nepal, has introduced the Redmi Note 2 following its recent showcase at Mi Fans day at CTC Mall. While both the Redmi Note 2 and Note 3 were presented, only the Note 2 is available now, with the Note 3 expected soon.

The Redmi Note 2 is a midrange smartphone from last year that delivers impressive specifications. It boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 13MP rear camera, a substantial 3060mAh battery, and is powered by the Helio X10 processor, known for its performance and efficiency. The Nepali version includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Priced at NPR 17,999, the device represents excellent value. It features a bright Full HD screen, an octa-core Mediatek processor, 2GB of RAM, and a capable camera setup. While the price is higher than in other markets, it remains competitive within Nepal’s current smartphone landscape. The phone offers impressive endurance, supporting up to 144 hours of dual SIM standby, 46 hours of music playback, 11.5 hours of GPS navigation, and 7.5 hours of video streaming.
