Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Design and Specifications Revealed in New Leak

Xiaomi continues to dominate the budget to mid-range smartphone market in Nepal, with over 15 models already available across various price points. The latest leak offers a detailed look at the upcoming Redmi Note 5A, the more affordable variant of the Redmi Note 5 series. This model is positioned as an early release, set to precede the more powerful Redmi Note 5.

The Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, ensuring durability and clear visuals. Under the hood, it uses the Snapdragon 625 chipset, the same processor found in the Redmi Note 4, which provides reliable performance for everyday tasks. The device is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In response to the growing popularity of dual-camera setups, Xiaomi has fitted the Redmi Note 5A with a dual-camera arrangement. The rear camera includes an OmniVision OV12A10 (12MP) and an OV13880 (13MP) sensor, supporting both optical zoom and wide-angle photography. Enhancements such as phase detection autofocus (PDAF), image stabilization, improved low-light performance, and the ability to record 4K and 2K videos at 30 frames per second, along with 1080p videos at 90 frames per second, aim to address previous weaknesses in the Note series' photography.
